Sanday Nature Tours offers a range of services for visitors including tailor-made birdwatching, wildlife & heritage walks on the beautiful island of Sanday, Orkney. We are also available for ecological consultancy and surveys, educational workshops and much more. Your tour guides are former Sanday Ranger Emma Neave-Webb and her husband Russell Neave. Both Emma and Russ have a lifelong interest in birds and wildlife in general with over 50 years’ experience between them. We have also spent many years working offshore as wildlife guides and seabird & marine mammal surveyors around the world.

Here at Sanday Nature Tours, we cater for all levels of birding and wildlife watching ability from the complete novice through to the experienced watcher. We are very flexible, willing, and able to respond to your requests with tailor-made tours built around you. Perhaps there is something you particularly want to see? Let us know! You can be sure we will do our best for you.

We always carry two telescopes with us so you will be able to see wildlife in amazing detail. We also have a few pairs of binoculars to borrow if you do not have your own. Hot drinks and biscuits will also always be a feature of any tour. At present due to COVID-19 we are only offering walking tours but hope to be back with our minibus operating normally in 2022.
